Overview : Virtual Explorer is a revolutionary and powerful integrated solution designed to replace the rather restricted features of the standard Pocket PC file explorer. Built upon an impressive framework of robust and very fast C++ code Virtual Explorer is faster, has more features, looks nicer and offers many advantages to the built-in Pocket PC file explorer.
Virtual Explorer allows users to perform all the standard file manipulation tasks (moving, copying, renaming, deleting) but also includes a fully featured registry editor, a recycle bin, support for .zip compression, strong cryptographic encryption, user profiles, navigation, multiple views, secure deletion of files and folders (implementation of the DOD 5220.22-M standard), custom folder icons and rich personalization. File operations are noticeably faster compared to other similar utilities due to the direct file system access layer that is able to bypass the OS and retrieve file data directly from the FAT file system.
Clean and descriptive user interface, support for Square/VGA/QVGA screens and on-the-fly screen rotation, navigation header bar with built-in CPU load monitor, total folder sizes, advanced file/folder properties, address bar and even our quadro-screen mode are some of the unique features of our product.
